Born and raised in western Massachusetts, about as far away as one can possibly be from Hawaii and still be in the United States, I arrived on Oahu for a one-month vacation in 1980…and stayed to make Hawaii my new home state. And I’ve been loving and exploring the islands, people, and culture of Hawaii for the past 30 years. I bought my first property on Oahu in 1983, and during the 45-day escrow period, I earned my State of Hawaii real estate license. Just two years later, I purchased the company I’d been working for; upon selling that business in 1986, I began and built Fidelity Properties from the ground up.
Over the past 30 years, as owner and principal broker of Fidelity Properties, I’ve developed a market savvy that has enabled me to survive, and thrive, through the highs and lows of fluctuating real estate trends. I’ve learned that there is opportunity in every situation, but that in order to maximize every opportunity, solid strategies must be in developed and utilized. Throughout changing and challenging real estate cycles, I’ve assisted buyers, sellers, and investors to benefit in every type of market, and I can assist you, too. Not to say that I focus only on the Windward Side. My love of all peoples and cultures, the makai (ocean) and `aina (land), all over Oahu, the neighbor islands, and even internationally (New Zealand), has been the foundation of my personal and professional relationships with locals and newcomers, neighbors and clients, and nature itself. My philosophy is to embrace everyone I meet with an open heart and warm aloha. The privilege of living in this paradise as well as serving clients here is something that I never take for granted.
